To tent or not to tent, is often the question contemplated by many a couple about to tie the knot. What makes a tent wedding so special? Here’s why:
1. Pictures, pictures, pictures.
Whether you have your ceremony and reception in the morning or at night, the photographs will be stunning. Nothing says romance like beautiful gardens, twinkling lights and the oneness with nature that tent weddings provide.
2. Spaciousness.
Most tents allow for a good-sized guest list so you can invite lots of family and friends. Since you are outside, you can most likely bring the dog or other family pet depending on the venue’s rules. Besides the guests and tables and chairs, most tents can accommodate a dance floor, d.j. table, buffet tables and other amenities.
3. Creative license.
With neutral colors and minimal decorations, the decorating possibilities are endless. Flowers, balloons, and colored lights or lanterns really transform the space under the tent. If you want to add some fun to the event, you can set up lawn activities like corn hole, hula hoops or horseshoes if the venue allows it.
